Breastfeeding is something I knew I had to give and experience...especially as a Black woman, we are the life source.



When I was 28 with my first baby breastfeeding wasn’t as normalized as it is now. It was, ‘I gotta cover-up, or go to the car...’
Although my mom didn’t breastfeed me, my...entire group of friends is breastfeeding their children. That kind of made me want to breastfeed my child, seeing other Black women..
